Never a bad time to do Push Ups, right?

MLB.com always makes the best baseball GIFs, and this one is no exception. After successfully stealing second and falling over the bag, Austin Jackson decided he might as well to some push ups before he got back up.

The Braves are still holding on to the top spot, but Detroit could just as easily be #1 in the rankings.

Scherzer now 16 and 1

Max Scherzer threw 7 2/3 innings of shutout ball to improve to 16-1, the first pitcher since Roger Clemens to do so.

Scherzer struck out six and improved his ERA to 2.85.

Max Scherzer goes 10-0, first time in Tigers history

The Tigers' Max Scherzer is now 10-0, the first time a player has done so in franchise history.

Scherzer struck out 10 Orioles to improve his perfect record, he now trails only Yu Darvish in strikeouts this season with 116.

Anibal Sanchez One Hit Shutout of Twins

Anibal Sanchez carried a no hitter into the ninth inning of last night's Twins-Tigers game.  Joe Mauer ended up hitting a single, the Twins' only hit.
So Anibal settled for the one-hit shutout with 12 strikeouts, as the Tigers won 6-0.

Can Miguel Cabrera win another Triple Crown in 2013?

Miguel Cabrera, Major League Baseball's best hitter, is on track to win a second Triple Crown in 2013, a year after winning the first Triple Crown in over 50 years in 2012.

Through May 20th, Miggy has a whopping .387 batting average (first in the league), 47 RBIs (first in the league), and 11 homers (one behind first place). His 1.116 OPS and 67 hits lead the league as well. I know we are only a quarter of the way through the season, but knowing Cabrera....

Trivia

• If Miguel Cabrera wins another Triple Crown, he will join Rogers Hornsby and Ted Williams as the only players in baseball history to win two Triple Crowns.
• Matt Harvey of the New York Mets has a chance at a pitching Triple Crown in the NL.
• Former Cy Young winners Clayton Kershaw and Justin Verlander were the last to win pitching Triple Crowns in 2011.

Miguel Cabrera and Avisail Garcia Look Alikes

Miguel Cabrera has a look alike, and his name is Avisail Garcia. The funny thing is that they are teammates on the Detroit Tigers. Garcia, an outfielder, just hit his first Major League homer against the Astros.

Oh and no. I will not tell you which one is which in the pictures.
